Event Description: Every Sunday, starting at 5 p.m., several local soccer coaches and players are hosting Soccer on Sundays, a soccer scrimmage open to ages 9-99. Intended to allow families to play together, to give students returning from college for the summer a place to keep their skills tuned, to give other players a chance to keep in shape for the fall, and to just play soccer. Come and go as work and family life allow; we will fit you in when you arrive. Location is the field at Turner Primary School (it is a full size regulation field), on Cobb Road, in Turner. There is a facebook page called Soccer on Sundays where you can check in for updates. We will go until some time in August.
Directions:
Turner Primary School, Cobb Road, Turner, Maine 04282: go north on Route 4 from Auburn, turn right on Upper Street across from K&K Construction, go about 5 1/2 miles, and, at bottom of hill, turn right on to Cobb, which runs on the left side of Schrep's store (Center Bridge Road is a hard right and goes to the right side of the store).
