Lewiston’s multi-faceted downtown Riverfront Island Master Plan Plan continues to move forward. An element of the plan has been completed involving the reconstruction of the main entrance to Simard-Payne Memorial Park, with plans now underway to construct an outdoor performing arts amphitheater along the riverbank near the park. .
