This community-based, local arts agency, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, presents several exciting performance series throughout the year, including live performing arts events in dance, music, and family entertainment from around the world.  In addition, L/A Arts collaborates with local educational institutions and community organizations, facilitating artist residencies, workshops, and other art events.  L/A Arts also holds an annual art exhibition and auction in the spring and offers a youth theatre program during the summer. As a resident, regional performing arts organization, The Maine Music Society was organized to support the artistic and educational activities of the professional Maine Chamber Ensemble and the Androscoggin Chorale.
